From this Bayou region, Todd and Suzanne Boudreaux have called Chauvin and Bourg their home communities. Both graduated from South Terrebonne High school, where they met and later married in 1995. They have three children; Hayden, Hallie and Hillary. Todd and Suzanne are 2002 Graduates from Nicholls State University. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education grades 1-8.
Todd and Suzanne Boudreaux came to Bayou Blue Assembly in 2011, lost and broken. They were at the end of themselves, when they each had a radical encounter with Jesus Christ. God came into their lives and set them in motion as they began to serve Jesus with all of their hearts. It wasn’t long that God began to plug them into “New Believers” class where they learned and grew as believers. Their faithfulness to Jesus became more evident and the call on their lives became visible. Suzanne began serving in the M-pact girls club and Todd began working in Crossroads young adult ministry. Soon Suzanne would join Todd in the Crossroads class to assist on growing the ministry which impacts young adults.
God soon called them to SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary to pursue their Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Pastoral Ministry. During their Journey, they also began an SUM cohort in Bayou Blue Assembly. Suzanne and Todd Boudreaux received their BA from SUM in June of 2019 in the presence of their church family. Todd and Suzanne have also been given the honor of becoming Licensed Ministers with the Louisiana Assemblies of God District in 2018. They now serve as the Couples Pastors along with being the SUM-Houma Pastors. They work as a team leading their marriage group called “Refined” to guide couples into a healthy marriage and “SUM students” into deeper levels with Christ.
